How To Install Windbooster®

Most vehicles have the gas pedal harness located behind or on top of the gas pedal, but some vehicles require removal of the gas pedal base to see the harness.

1. Before installation, turn off the vehicle’s ignition and wait 10-15 minutes with the driver’s door open to ensure the ECU is powered down.

Notice: For vehicles equipped with a keyless ignition system, please ensure that the key fob is more than 10 meters away from the vehicle to prevent accidental activation of the accessory power.

2. Unplug the vehicle original connector.
3. Insert the WINDBOOSTER adapter/plug into the original socket, make sure to push firmly until it clicks into place.
4. Insert the Original Connector into the WINDBOOSTER Adaptor/plug, make sure to push firmly until it clicks into place.
5. Paste the display in your preferred location on the dashboard.

Notice: For vehicles equipped with a keyless ignition system, please ensure that the key fob is more than 10 meters away from the vehicle to prevent accidental activation of the accessory power.

Important: Before installation, make sure your vehicle is turned off and the key is removed from the ignition. Disconnecting the battery will help fully power down the system, preventing the Check Engine Light from illuminating.
